As Serani Hunyi's film CALIBRATION moves into production in Prague, an ensemble of European cast is bringing this psychologically charged world to life.
Set in a near-future society where trauma, memory, and emotional regulation have become matters of institutional control, CALIBRATION demands performances built on restraint, complexity, and emotional truth. The story unfolds not through spectacle, but through the intimate consequences of impossible choices.
MEET THE CALIBRATION CAST
UNA KOVAC as FREYA HOLLISTER
At the centre of CALIBRATION is Freya Hollister, an autistic quantitative systems analyst recruited for her extraordinary ability to identify patterns hidden within complex data.
Portraying Freya is Budapest-based actress Una Kovac.
Trained in Contemporary Method Acting at the Copenhagen International School of Performing Arts, Una has worked across feature films, television, independent cinema, and theatre throughout Europe. Her screen credits include the internationally broadcast series Baptiste alongside Tchéky Karyo, as well as numerous European film productions.
Freya is a character who experiences much of her journey internally rather than externally. The role required an actor capable of conveying profound psychological shifts with precision and restraint. Una brings exactly that quality to the role.
ALYONA OSMANOVA as HANNAH
Hannah serves as the emotional anchor of CALIBRATION.
She represents connection, warmth, loyalty, and ultimately the human cost of the choices made throughout the story.
The role is portrayed by Ukrainian actress and model Alyona Osmanova.
Before moving into screen work, Alyona established an internationally successful modelling career, collaborating with leading fashion houses including Prada, Chanel, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs, and Bottega Veneta. Her work has appeared in publications including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Dazed & Confused, and Numéro, alongside campaigns photographed by some of the fashion industry's most respected image-makers.
MARKO ADETUNJI as ORDERLY LEROY
Though a smaller role within the story, Orderly Leroy occupies a significant position within Harbor’s world.
The character is portrayed by Prague-based Nigerian-Slovak actor and screenwriter Marko Adetunji.
Marko has performed with the Prague Shakespeare Company and trained in the Meisner technique at Prague Playhouse. His work across theatre, commercials, and film is marked by emotional honesty and strong character instincts.
His grounded presence adds another layer to the institutional environment surrounding Freya’s journey.
IGOR PRIELO as DR. ELIAS REED
Dr. Reed occupies one of the film’s most morally ambiguous spaces.
Part therapist, part strategist, part system operator, he exists within structures that blur the line between care and control.
The role is played by Slovak actor Igor Prielo.
Born in Slovakia, raised in Germany, and educated in the United States, Igor developed his craft through theatre training at Francis Marion University before gaining practical experience in Los Angeles and later returning to Europe.
Working across film, television, commercial production, and live performance, Igor brings a grounded, intelligent screen presence to the role. His experience across English, German, and Slovak productions allows him to navigate the subtle psychological territory that defines Dr. Reed.
ANTOANELLA UNGUREANU as ANGELA PETRESCU
Angela Petrescu occupies one of CALIBRATION's most complex moral spaces.
Neither villain nor hero, Angela represents the face of institutional decision-making, operating within a system that constantly tests the boundaries between ethical responsibility and corporate necessity.
Romanian actress Antoanella Ungureanu brings the character to life.
Based in Prague and working across film, television, and theatre in both Prague and Bucharest, Antoanella's credits include Král Šumavy: Fantom temného kraje directed by David Ondříček, Please Rise alongside Cannes Best Actress winner Zar Amir Ebrahimi, and Charlotte Vacková’s award-winning short film Forbidden.
Her combination of intelligence, warmth, and quiet authority made her a natural choice for the role.
LENKA ŠILHÁNOVÁ as DR. DANIELA KRÁLOVÁ
Dr. Daniela Králová oversees the clinical side of Harbor, the institution at the centre of the film’s most controversial innovation.
The role is performed by Prague-based actress Lenka Šilhánová.
Having trained at London's Actors Centre as well as in Los Angeles and San Francisco, Lenka began her career on stage before moving into screen performance. Alongside her acting career, she spent a decade working in international advertising on award-winning campaigns and creative projects.
Her professional background brings a unique authenticity and maturity to a character tasked with navigating the uneasy intersection between science, medicine, and ethics.
A EUROPEAN ENSEMBLE
CALIBRATION brings together performers from across Europe.
The cast reflects the diversity and international character of Prague's thriving film community while remaining deeply connected to the European perspective that shapes the film itself.
Production begins in Prague in November 2026, with principal photography taking place across a number of locations throughout the Czech capital.
CALIBRATION is scheduled for completion in 2027.

More recently, Osmanova expanded into acting, appearing in the acclaimed Nordic thriller series Conflict, directed by Aku Louhimies.
Her natural screen presence, emotional intelligence, and quiet sensitivity bring an essential humanity to the role of Hannah.
